We are extremely pleased with the way that J Doran photography captured our wedding day. An "engagement shoot" at no extra charge meant that we got to know John and practise posing for photographs beforehand, so that there was no awkwardness on the actual day. A comprehensive questionnaire combined with lots of discussion also ensured that John understood exactly which shots we wanted and which style of photography we preferred, and we are happy to say that all our requirements were fulfilled.

Having two photographers on the day was really important to us, as we now not only have the formal pictures of the bridal/groom's parties and the families, but we also have lots of reportage-style informal pictures of all our guests enjoying themselves. On the day, John was friendly and helpful, yet remained unobtrusive at all times. There are many close-up photographs of our wedding ceremony that really capture the happiness and emotion that we both felt, and yet I hardly remember seeing that John was there at this time.

The final photographs we received are well-framed, artistic (without being too "arty") and beautifully-edited. The colours are fantastic and there are hundreds of pictures that illustrate all the important moments. Our wedding day went by so fast, but the photographs are a perfect representation of that day for us. It was difficult to narrow down the photos to our final album choices (although we have a CD copy of all the surplus photos), but the end result is a stunning album of fantastic quality that we will treasure for the rest of our lives.
